Called this due to the bright blue on its forearm! Good size mantis, reaching about 3 1/2 " in length. Colors are a nice sea green. Easy to care for, and eats blue bottle flies and adult crickets as an adult mantis. Not native to the US, so cannot be released, keep only as pet. A good container for this big guy is the large round, large hex or medium cave. Picture is of general Sphodro species.
