A small mantis reaching about 1 1/4" and very docile. The males are about the same size as the females. They really like to play and hide on sticks, sometimes it's all you can do to get them back in their container after playing with them! They eat house flies and Blue Bottle flies along with crickets and the occasional mealworm. Multicolor. A good size container for this species is the Medium Round or Small Round.
